TheMuseum
My beliefs and cultural understanding lead me to observe contemporary societies and the way certain socio-cultural habits are practiced. Some experiences in the past inspired me to acknowledge that museums are one of many things that all the countries have in common; history, artists, customs and traditions that make themselves unique. People of a country want to preserve and share the worlds most precious treasures that gain great value in combination with their audience.
Human behavior fascinates me in a very particular way when we visit some cultural spaces to get some information about what is exhibited or just to appreciate a great building. These locations and their exhibitions intend to approach people and become appealing to be observed. The museum becomes a museum at the moment people enter the building, the interaction of the person with the art exhibited becomes a performative act. Finally, the artwork becomes an extension of our senses. What we feel when we interact with the piece of art and the space. It’s all a combination of different factors that match. The analysis of the viewer, and their respective reaction generates the integration with their environment, which makes the museum the perfect scenario for the liberation of our sensory senses.
