the real birds view

Water is highlighted as a powerful symbol of renewal and fertility.

The picture was taken from the Ponte Laú bridge in Ticino. I captured it spontaneously, holding a modified Nikon D850 full-spectrum camera. This means that various filters have been removed in front of the sensor. Consequently, the camera can reproduce the entire color spectrum, from infrared to ultraviolet. This results in a color shift, and depending on the sun's intensity, green appears somewhat whitish-yellowish. These are the colors a bird, such as an eagle, might perceive because a bird's eye can detect infrared. Just like my camera, birds can recognize the ripeness of different fruits.

The image depicts the Orino stream during a flood when it has much more water than usual. Its normal height is 2770 meters below the Adula, the highest mountain in Ticino.

The river's course in this image resembles a sperm, which is why I chose this picture. Currently, the world is undergoing change; we are on the brink of a new era, and turbulent times are apparent for many. It's a period of new orientation and, for many, a new beginning.
